Our craft

A tandoor company built around the traditional tandoor

CSA certified NSF certified Propane & natural gas Home & commercial

Tandoor Morni is a tandoor company that exists for one reason: to put an authentic, restaurant-grade clay oven in the hands of people who care about real tandoori cooking. Whether you call us a tandoori company, a tandoor maker or simply the people who build your oven, our work starts and ends with the traditional tandoor oven.

Every traditional tandoori oven we supply is built around a hand-finished clay tandoori pot, the heart of the oven that gives naan its blistered crust and tikka its smoky char. We surround that clay with insulation and a stainless steel tandoori oven body, then fire it with a controllable gas burner. The result is a range of high-quality tandoor ovens that cook the way a traditional tandoor always has, with the safety and consistency modern kitchens need.

We only sell authentic tandoori ovens that meet North American safety standards. Our ovens are CSA and NSF certified, which matters for restaurant inspections, insurance and peace of mind at home.

About Tandoor Morni — Our Story

From a Single Request
to North America's Most
Trusted Tandoor Brand

In 1992, Mr. Bitu arrived in Toronto as a new immigrant, building a business importing Basmati rice and Indian spices. The path to tandoor ovens began with a single conversation — a restaurant owner asked if he could source one. He had never dealt in tandoors before, but he recognized what that request represented: an unmet need in a growing market.

That one oven led to many. As orders grew, Mr. Bitu saw that the North American commercial kitchen demanded more than the traditional charcoal-fired clay pot. Restaurants needed gas-compatible models that could be plumbed into an existing kitchen gas line. Health departments required food-safety certification — a field where no tandoor supplier had done the work. Kitchens demanded durability, consistent heat, and after-sales support that simply did not exist in the market at the time. Every competitor was importing and reselling. No dedicated tandoor oven manufacturer USA-wide was doing the certifications, the clay sourcing, and the after-sales support under one roof. Nobody was manufacturing, certifying, and supporting.

Tandoor Morni was built to solve exactly that — to become the clay tandoor manufacturer North America was missing. The company invested in its own Delhi factory — a decision that defines Tandoor Morni as a clay tandoor manufacturer rather than an importer. A clay tandoor manufacturer controls the clay selection, the potter training, and the kiln-firing quality — recruited artisan potters trained specifically for tandoor construction, and spent a decade working toward the certifications that matter most to professional kitchens. In 2002, Tandoor Morni earned NSF/ANSI 4 and CSA Z83.11 certification — becoming among the first NSF certified tandoor manufacturers in North America to hold both, establishing Tandoor Morni as the NSF certified tandoor manufacturer the industry still recognizes today. Today, Tandoor Morni operates nine showrooms across the USA and Canada — the only certified tandoor oven manufacturer with a physical presence you can walk into before you buy, and the only one with factory-direct pricing, a full accessories kit included with every oven, and a certified gas technician network for installations.

Inside the oven

What goes into an authentic tandoori oven

Four parts decide how well a tandoor cooks and how long it lasts.

The tandoori pot

A thick clay liner that soaks up heat and radiates it back evenly. Seasoned with Tandoor Oven Curing Paste AS05 and kept in shape with the Tandoor Clay Pot Repair Kit AS08.

Stainless steel body

An insulated stainless steel shell protects the clay, holds heat for longer and wipes clean after service. The Stainless Steel Tandoor Oven Lid AS11 seals heat in between cooks.

Gas burner & safety

A steady flame from the Tandoor Oven Burner – AS06, lit by the Gas Tandoor Pilot Assembly AS13 and guarded by the Tandoor Oven Thermocouple AS12, which cuts the gas if the flame goes out.

Heat spreading

The Tandoor Baffle Plate AS02 and Tandoor Oven Clay Balls AS07 spread and store heat so the whole clay wall cooks evenly, not just the bottom.

Getting started

Tandoor oven use: from first firing to first naan

A traditional tandoor rewards a little care up front. These are the steps we walk every new owner through.

  1. Cure the clay

Coat the inside of the tandoori pot with Tandoor Oven Curing Paste AS05 and fire the oven gently over several sessions so the clay dries evenly.

  2. Preheat and check

Bring the oven up to temperature and read the clay wall with the Digital Thermometer Gun AS16. Naan needs a hotter wall than kebabs.

  3. Bake naan

Wear Tandoor Heat Resistant Gloves AS15, press dough onto the wall with the Tandoor Oven Naan Gaddi AS09 and lift it off with the Tandoori Naan Rod Pair AS03.

  4. Cook on skewers

Load Tandoor Skewers & Shish Kebab Skewers For Sale — Flat Metal Grilling Rods AS04, rest them in the Tandoor Skewers Ring AS10 and hang larger cuts on the Tandoor Oven Meat Hanging Hook AS17.

  5. Close up

Fit the Stainless Steel Tandoor Oven Lid AS11 after cooking and cover the oven with the Tandoor Cover – All-Weather Protection AS14 if it lives outside.

One oven, many names

From the tandoor to the tandir oven

The clay oven is one of the oldest cooking tools in the world. The same idea travelled across South Asia, Central Asia, the Caucasus and the Middle East, picking up a new name in each place. That is why people search for a tandoor, a tandori oven, a tandor oven or a tandir oven and mean almost the same thing.

Tandoor

India & Pakistan

Home of naan, tandoori chicken, seekh kebab and tikka.

Tandir

Turkey & Central Asia

The tandir oven bakes Uzbek non and slow-roasts whole lamb.

Tonir

Armenia & Georgia

Used for lavash and shotis puri breads baked on the clay wall.

Tannur

Middle East

An ancient clay oven for flatbreads, still used in villages today.

Our Journey — Clay Tandoor History

Three Decades of Milestones

The clay tandoor history of Tandoor Morni spans over 30 years of manufacturing, certifying, and supporting authentic tandoor ovens across North America. Understanding clay tandoor history means understanding why certification matters — and why Tandoor Morni pursued it when no one else would. The clay tandoor history of North America is incomplete without the 2002 NSF and CSA certification milestone that Tandoor Morni achieved as the first certified clay tandoor manufacturer on the continent.

1992

Year One

Tandoor Morni Founded in Toronto

Mr. Bitu receives his first restaurant tandoor request while running an import business. Recognizing an unmet demand, he pivots to sourcing and supplying clay tandoor ovens. The first commercial tandoor is sold in Toronto, Canada.

Late 1990s

Expansion

Entry into the US Market

Growing demand from American restaurants and catering companies drives Tandoor Morni's expansion across the border. The company establishes its first US showroom presence, bringing factory-direct tandoors to the American market.

2002

Certification Milestone

CSA and NSF/ANSI 4 Certified

Tandoor Morni becomes CSA certified under gas safety standards and earns NSF/ANSI 4 certification — the gold standard for commercial foodservice equipment. This makes Tandoor Morni one of the first tandoor manufacturers in North America to meet health department requirements on day one.

Today

Present

9 Showrooms, NSF & CSA Certified, 30+ Years

With nine showrooms across the USA and Canada, NSF and CSA certifications on all models, and a Delhi factory staffed by trained artisan potters, Tandoor Morni remains the most certified tandoor oven manufacturer in North America — and the tandoor oven manufacturer USA restaurants, caterers, and home cooks have relied on for over 30 years. No other tandoor oven manufacturer on the continent can match this combination of physical presence, certification, and manufacturing control.

Why Choose Tandoor Morni

What Separates Tandoor Morni
From Every Other Supplier

There are dozens of tandoor importers in North America. There is only one Tandoor Morni.
Here is what that difference means in practice — for your kitchen, your health department, and
your operation.

01

NSF & CSA Certified — Every Model

Without NSF/ANSI 4, your tandoor fails the health department inspection. Without CSA on a gas model, your fire marshal can shut you down on opening day. Every Tandoor Morni model — commercial and home — carries both certifications. Permanently etched nameplates, not paper stickers. Most competitors hold neither.

02

9 Showrooms — See It Before You Buy

No other tandoor supplier in North America has a single physical showroom. Tandoor Morni has nine — across eight US states and Canada. You can walk in, see a live tandoor oven, ask questions in person, and leave with confidence. No other supplier can offer this.

03

Free Accessories Kit — Every Purchase

Every Tandoor Morni oven ships with a complete accessories kit and AS14 curing paste included — skewers, naan gaddi, lid, and everything needed for day-one operation. Competitors charge for these separately. We include them because a tandoor oven is only as good as the day you first fire it up.

04

Genuine Himalayan Clay — Not a Substitute

The cooking performance of a tandoor oven is determined entirely by the quality of its clay. Tandoor Morni uses hand-selected clay from the foothills of the snow-fed Himalayas — chosen for its mineral density, low thermal expansion, and natural heat-retention properties. Competitors use generic clay or, worse, steel shells lined with a thin clay coat.

05

Factory-Direct — No Middleman

Tandoor Morni owns its Delhi factory. Every oven is built to our specification, quality-checked before shipping, and sold factory-direct. No importers, no distributors, no markups along the chain. The price you pay is the manufacturer price. Every oven comes with a complete paper trail — invoice, certification documents, and gas compliance records.

06

Easy Financing — Quick Approval

A commercial tandoor oven is a significant investment. Tandoor Morni offers easy financing with quick approval on every model — commercial, catering, copper, and home. Most competitors require full payment upfront. We offer financing because we understand that a restaurant opening is already a financial stretch, and the right equipment should not be out of reach.

How We Build

Clay from the Himalayas.
Crafted in Delhi. Certified in North America.

Every Tandoor Morni oven begins with a single decision — selecting the right Himalayan clay.
Our trained potters travel to the foothills of the snow-fed Himalayas to hand-select and sort the
most suitable Himalayan clay before a single pot is ever shaped. The choice of Himalayan clay
is not a branding decision. It is a performance decision — and the difference is measurable in
every naan that bakes on the wall and every kebab that comes off the skewer.

01

Himalayan Clay — Why It Matters

Trained potters hand-select clay from the foothills of the snow-fed Himalayas, sorting by hand for mineral density, texture, and heat tolerance. Himalayan clay has a naturally low shrinkage rate at extreme temperatures, high thermal mass for sustained heat retention, and a mineral composition that remains structurally stable through thousands of heat cycles. Generic clay cracks. Steel shells do not retain heat the same way. Neither produces authentic tandoori results.

02

Artisan Shaping in Delhi

At our Delhi factory, artisan potters trained specifically for tandoor construction shape each clay pot by hand. This is not general pottery — each artisan potter masters the specific wall thickness, interior diameter ratios, and base geometry required to achieve correct airflow and heat distribution. The interior clay lining — the surface your naan bakes on — is formed and refined by hand by each artisan potter to exacting standards before kiln firing.

03

High-Temperature Kiln Firing

Each clay pot is kiln-fired at temperatures exceeding 1,000 degrees Celsius — hot enough to permanently alter the clay's molecular structure, increase its density, and eliminate any residual organic content. The firing process determines the oven's heat retention, longevity, and resistance to cracking under the thermal stress of daily commercial use. Under-fired clay crumbles within months.

04

North American Gas Certification

All gas fittings and safety components are installed and certified in North America by licensed gas technicians — meeting NSF/ANSI 4 and CSA Z83.11 standards for commercial kitchen use in the USA and Canada. The certification marks are permanently etched onto stainless steel nameplates before delivery. Every model ships with complete certification documentation.

How We Build

Built on Five Principles
Since Day One

When Mr. Bitu founded Tandoor Morni in 1992, he set out five principles that would guide this
tandoor oven company for every oven built, every certification earned, and every customer
relationship maintained. These principles are why Tandoor Morni remains the most trusted
tandoor oven company in North America — and why this tandoor oven company has operated
continuously since 1992.

Craftsmanship

Every tandoor oven is shaped by a trained artisan potter using Himalayan clay — the same craft process used since 1992. Each artisan potter is trained specifically for tandoor construction, not general pottery. We do not compromise on materials or construction methods, regardless of order size.

Quality

NSF and CSA certification is not a marketing claim — it is a legal and safety commitment. Without NSF/ANSI 4, a commercial tandoor oven fails the health department inspection before the first service. Without CSA certification on a gas model, a fire marshal can issue a notice to close on opening day. Every Tandoor Morni model carries both certifications, leaves our factory with permanently etched nameplates, and ships with full certification documentation.

Authenticity

A Tandoor Morni oven uses a genuine clay pot interior sourced from Himalayan clay — not a steel shell or a substitute. Authentic tandoori cooking requires authentic heat retention, and that only comes from real clay fired to the correct temperature.

After-Sales Support

Nine showrooms mean nine locations where your questions get answered in person. Our team supports every purchase with operational guidance, curing instructions, spare parts availability, and access to certified gas technicians for gas model installations.

Customer Relationships

The restaurant owner who made that first request in 1992 changed everything. We have never forgotten that Tandoor Morni exists because of the customers who trusted us first — and we build every oven, earn every certification, and open every showroom with that trust in mind.

NSF Certified Tandoor Manufacturer Since 2002

The certifications that matter most to North American health departments, fire marshals, and building inspectors — carried by every Tandoor Morni model since 2002. We are the tandoor oven company that did the work no other supplier would. A tandoor oven company that manufactures, certifies, and supports every oven it sells is a fundamentally different business than one that imports and resells. Tandoor Morni is that tandoor oven company — and the only one in North America with nine showrooms to prove it.

CSA Sanitation logo with NSF/ANSI 4 below sanitation for About us Page
CSA Certification logo for About us page

CSA Z83.11 — Why It Matters

CSA Z83.11 is the gas appliance safety standard required for all gas-fired commercial equipment in the USA and Canada — C/US dual-marked. Without it, your building inspector or fire marshal can halt operations. Every Tandoor Morni gas model is CSA certified. Some US cities (including Chicago, NYC, and LA) require both CSA certified and NSF certified equipment on the same oven — our T-Series carries both. Not sure what your city requires? Call us at +1 (727) 251-6924.

NSF / ANSI 4 — Why It Matters

NSF/ANSI 4 is the food safety standard required by health departments across the USA and Canada for any commercial cooking equipment. An oven without it cannot legally operate in a licensed food service establishment. Every Tandoor Morni commercial and home model is NSF certified — most tandoor importers are not. As an NSF certified tandoor manufacturer since 2002, Tandoor Morni was among the first to earn and maintain this certification across its entire product line.

Buying advice

Comparing tandoor brands and reading tandoori oven reviews

Many buyers research brands such as Shaan tandoori oven and Puri tandoori oven before they call us. That is a smart move. Every tandoor company makes claims, so here is the checklist we suggest using when you read tandoori oven reviews and compare authentic tandoori ovens side by side.

Who We Serve

Tandoor Ovens for Every
Commercial & Home Application

Tandoor Morni has supplied every type of kitchen that uses a tandoor oven — from single-unit
Indian restaurants to hotel banquet halls, catering fleets, and home cooks. Each operation has
different needs, and we manufacture a certified model for each of them.

Indian & South Asian Restaurants

Naan, tandoori chicken, seekh kebab, roti, and tikka are the backbone of an Indian restaurant menu. The CH02, T02, CH04, and T04 are the most common choices — sized for small to medium-volume service, NSF and CSA certified, and available in natural gas or propane. Many Indian restaurants run two tandoors side by side for uninterrupted service.

Middle Eastern & Halal Restaurants

Shawarma operations, Turkish restaurants, Iranian kitchens, and Levantine food service all use tandoor ovens for flatbreads including khubz, lavash, manakish, pita, and sangak. The CH06 with its 36-inch clay belly is purpose-built for the larger flatbreads required in Middle Eastern cooking. All models use clay, stainless steel, and non-reactive materials — fully halal-compatible construction.

Banquet Halls & Hotel Kitchens

High-volume South Asian weddings, hotel buffets, and banquet operations demand the largest clay chamber available. The T06 Punjabi Tandoor — 36 inches by 36 inches — bakes 20 naans per cycle and is the standard for banquet hall kitchens and large hotel Indian food stations across the USA. Dual CSA and NSF certified for the strictest city compliance requirements.

Catering Companies & Food Trucks

Catering operations and food trucks need a certified tandoor that can be transported, set up quickly, and pass an event permit inspection. The CS02 food truck tandoor is the only NSF certified food truck tandoor oven in North America with both propane and natural gas configurations. Compact footprint, four castered wheels, and built for repeated transport.

Ghost Kitchens & Cloud Kitchens

Ghost kitchen and cloud kitchen operators need a tandoor oven that passes the commissary kitchen's own health inspection and complies with the delivery platform's food safety requirements. The T04 is the most heavily certified tandoor oven in the Tandoor Morni range — CSA and NSF certified from the factory — making it the right choice for ghost kitchen environments where audits can happen without notice.

Home Kitchens & Backyard Cooks

Home cooks who want to replicate authentic tandoori results — not approximations from a regular oven or grill — choose a Tandoor Morni home tandoor oven. Unlike any competitor model, every Tandoor Morni home tandoor carries NSF/ANSI 4 certification. The same Himalayan clay construction, the same 100,000 BTU 900 degrees F performance, in a compact size suited to a home kitchen, patio, or backyard setup.

Parts & accessories

Everything your traditional tandoor oven needs

As a tandoor company, we stock the tools, spares and care products to keep your oven cooking for years.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions About Tandoor Morni & Our Ovens

How long has Tandoor Morni been in business?
Tandoor Morni was founded in Toronto, Canada in 1992 by Mr. Bitu, making it one of the longest-operating certified tandoor manufacturers in North America. The company entered the US market in the late 1990s, earned NSF/ANSI 4 and CSA certification in 2002, and now operates nine showrooms across the USA and Canada. That is over 30 years of continuous manufacturing and after-sales support.
Where are Tandoor Morni ovens manufactured?
All Tandoor Morni clay tandoor ovens are manufactured at our factory in Delhi, India, where trained artisan potters hand-shape each clay pot using Himalayan clay selected from the foothills of the snow-fed Himalayas. All gas fittings, safety components and certification work are carried out in North America by licensed gas technicians before delivery.
Is Tandoor Morni a tandoor company or a tandoori company?
Both names describe us. Tandoor Morni is a tandoor company that designs and supplies high-quality tandoor ovens, replacement parts and accessories for homes, restaurants and caterers. Many customers search for a tandoori company, and it is the same thing: we specialise in authentic tandoori ovens and everything needed to run them. Our ovens are CSA and NSF certified.
Are Tandoor Morni ovens NSF certified?
Yes. Every Tandoor Morni commercial and home tandoor oven carries NSF/ANSI 4 certification, the food safety standard required by health departments across the USA and Canada for commercial cooking equipment. All gas models are also CSA certified under CSA Z83.11 gas safety standards. Certification marks are permanently etched on stainless steel nameplates, and full certification documentation is provided with every purchase.
What certifications does my city or state require?
NSF/ANSI 4 alone satisfies health department requirements in most US states. Some cities, including Chicago, New York City, Los Angeles and San Francisco, require both NSF and CSA certification on the same piece of commercial cooking equipment. If your jurisdiction requires dual certification, our T-Series tandoor ovens carry both from the factory. Not sure what your city requires? Call us at +1 (727) 251-6924 and we will confirm before you order.
Do I need to visit a showroom, or can I order online?
You can order factory-direct without visiting a showroom. However, if you are within reach of one of our nine US and Canada showroom locations, visiting in person is strongly recommended: you will see the tandoor oven, fire it up and speak with a knowledgeable team member before committing. No other tandoor manufacturer in North America offers this. Showrooms are open Monday to Friday, 10AM to 4PM, by appointment. Call +1 (727) 251-6924 to schedule.
Where can I find a tandoori oven near me?
Tandoor Morni ships tandoor ovens and accessories directly to homes and businesses, so you do not need a local store. Call +1 (727) 251-6924 or email info@tandoormorni.com for delivery times to your area. In-transit insurance is available at extra cost.
Does Tandoor Morni offer financing?
Yes. Easy financing with quick approval is available on every model: commercial, catering, copper and home. Visit the tandoor oven financing page for details or call +1 (727) 251-6924 to discuss options before you order.
What comes included with every oven purchase?
Every Tandoor Morni oven ships with a complete accessories kit, including Tandoor Skewers & Shish Kebab Skewers For Sale — Flat Metal Grilling Rods AS04, the Tandoor Oven Naan Gaddi AS09, the Stainless Steel Tandoor Oven Lid AS11 and all accessories needed for day-one operation, plus Tandoor Oven Curing Paste AS05 at no extra charge. Certification documentation and an operation manual are included. Accessories, replacement parts and curing supplies are also available separately through our showrooms and online.
How does Tandoor Morni compare with Shaan tandoori oven or Puri tandoori oven?
Shoppers often compare us with brands such as Shaan tandoori oven and Puri tandoori oven. Rather than take anyone's word for it, compare on the points that matter: CSA and NSF certification, the quality and thickness of the clay pot, the insulation and stainless steel grade, availability of replacement parts like the Tandoor Oven Burner – AS06, Tandoor Oven Thermocouple AS12 and Gas Tandoor Pilot Assembly AS13, and real tandoori oven reviews from verified buyers. We are happy to walk you through our specifications by phone at +1 (727) 251-6924.
What is a traditional tandoor oven?
A traditional tandoor oven is a cylindrical clay oven, often called a tandoori pot, that cooks with intense radiant heat. Bread is slapped onto the hot clay wall and meat is lowered in on skewers. A Tandoor Morni traditional tandoori oven keeps that hand-finished clay pot and wraps it in an insulated stainless steel body with a gas burner, so you get authentic results with controlled, safe heat.
Is it spelled tandoor, tandori oven, tandor oven or tandir oven?
All of these point to the same family of ovens. Tandoor is the most common English spelling. Tandori oven and tandor oven are everyday spellings people type into search. Tandir oven is the Turkish and Central Asian name for a closely related clay oven. Whichever spelling you use, you have found the right tandoor company.
Should I buy a gas, charcoal or electric tandoor?
An electric tandoor is compact and convenient for small indoor kitchens, but it usually runs cooler than a clay tandoor and gives less of the charred, smoky finish. Charcoal gives classic flavour but takes longer to light and is harder to control. Gas gives the high, steady heat of a traditional tandoor with easy temperature control and is the most common choice for restaurants and serious home cooks. Call us and we will help you choose.
Is a stainless steel tandoori oven better than a plain clay one?
The clay pot does the cooking in both. A stainless steel tandoori oven adds an insulated metal shell that protects the clay, holds heat longer, is easier to clean and is suited to commercial kitchens. Add the Stainless Steel Tandoor Oven Lid AS11 to trap heat between cooks and the Tandoor Cover – All-Weather Protection AS14 if the oven lives outdoors.
Can I get a tandoori clay oven for home use?
Yes. Our tandoori clay oven for home use runs on propane or natural gas and fits a backyard, patio or outdoor kitchen. Many home cooks spread the cost with tandoor oven financing. Keep it protected with the Tandoor Cover – All-Weather Protection AS14.
How do I use a tandoor oven for the first time?
Good tandoor oven use starts with curing. Coat the inside of the new clay pot with Tandoor Oven Curing Paste AS05, then heat the oven slowly over several sessions so moisture leaves the clay evenly. Check the wall temperature with the Digital Thermometer Gun AS16, protect your hands with Tandoor Heat Resistant Gloves AS15, and use the Tandoor Oven Naan Gaddi AS09 to place naan on the wall and the Tandoori Naan Rod Pair AS03 to lift it off.
How do I cure and maintain my tandoor oven?
Every new Tandoor Morni oven must be cured before first use with the Tandoor Oven Curing Paste AS05 procedure: four coats applied at 20 to 35 percent heat with 10-minute absorption intervals, completing the full 100-hour curing cycle. The paste is included with your purchase. The oven should be re-seasoned every 4 to 6 months during regular use. Full instructions are available in the gas tandoor operation manual.

About Tandoor Morni — Quick Facts

Tandoor Morni at a Glance

Who We Are

Tandoor Morni is the tandoor oven manufacturer USA restaurants and caterers have relied on since 1992. Founded by Mr. Bitu in Toronto, Canada, this tandoor oven company is the only certified clay tandoor manufacturer in North America operating nine physical showrooms. About Tandoor Morni: factory-direct, NSF and CSA certified, 30-plus years of continuous manufacturing.

Our Certifications

As an NSF certified tandoor manufacturer since 2002, Tandoor Morni was among the first in North America to earn NSF/ANSI 4. All gas models are CSA certified under Z83.11. Being an NSF certified tandoor manufacturer means every oven carries permanently etched certification nameplates — not paper stickers — and ships with full certification documentation.

Clay Tandoor History & Manufacturing

The clay tandoor history of North America runs through Tandoor Morni. When Mr. Bitu founded this clay tandoor manufacturer in 1992, no certified supplier existed on the continent. The clay tandoor history of Tandoor Morni is the story of building the supply chain, the certifications, and the showroom network from scratch. Every artisan potter at our Delhi factory is trained specifically for tandoor construction.

Authentic Tandoor Ovens Since 1992

Authentic tandoor ovens since 1992 — that phrase captures what Tandoor Morni has built over three decades. Authentic tandoor ovens since 1992 means genuine Himalayan clay, trained artisan potters, kiln-fired clay pots, and no shortcuts. Every oven we have built from 1992 to today uses the same Himalayan clay sourcing and artisan shaping process.

Tandoor Oven Manufacturer USA Coverage

As a tandoor oven manufacturer USA-wide, Tandoor Morni ships to all 50 US states in 3 to 5 business days from our nearest US warehouse. As a tandoor oven manufacturer USA showrooms, we operate locations in eight US states and one Canadian province. No other tandoor oven manufacturer USA-based has this physical footprint. Find your nearest showroom

Artisan Potter — Our Craftspeople

Every Tandoor Morni oven is shaped by an artisan potter at our Delhi factory who is trained specifically for tandoor construction. An artisan potter building a tandoor requires mastery of wall thickness ratios, interior clay lining technique, and kiln-firing sequencing that general pottery does not teach. Our artisan potter team has refined this process over decades — and the quality shows in every oven. Each artisan potter builds only tandoors, not general pottery — the specialization is what produces consistent clay quality across every unit.
