  • 1 tbsp gram flour (besan)
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
 
  • 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika (for extra smoky tandoori jackfruit flavor)
  • Salt to taste

Step 1: Prepare the Jackfruit

 

  • First, drain and rinse the jackfruit thoroughly. Then gently squeeze out excess moisture. If pieces are large, cut them into bite-sized chunks.

Step 2: Make the Marinade

 

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together dairy-free yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, mustard oil, lemon juice, gram flour, and all spices. The marinade should be thick and vibrant red.

Step 3: Marinate
