A Food Truck Tandoor is built to be lighter, more compact, and durable enough to handle the bumps on the road whereas a Restaurant Tandoor is typically larger and heavier, designed for stationary, high-volume cooking in a commercial kitchen.
For best results, regularly clean out ash and food debris once the oven has completely cooled. Cure your tandoor once after every 6 months to prevent the clay pot from cracking and fill up the minor cracks using the repair clay kit to ensure a long life. Yes, we strongly recommend a certified gas technician to install your tandoor oven to operate safely and meet all local fire and gas regulations. (Please view the operation manual before use).
Never wash the clay interior with water or soap, as this can cause it to crack. Once the oven is completely cool, gently scrape away any residue.
