300gm Mushrooms whole or quartered,100 ml Greek Yogurt, 3 cloves Garlic finely chopped, 1/2 tsp Turmeric, 1 tsp Garam Masala, 1 tsp Chilli powder, 1/2 tsp Cumin, 2 tbsp Lemon juice, Salt and Pepper
Preheat the Tandoor to 200 C/ Gas mark 6.In a large bowl mix the yogurt with garlic, lemon juice and all the spices. Add the mushrooms to the marinade bowl, mix well and season with salt and pepper. Cover and chill the mushrooms for at least half an hour. Soak some wooden skewers in cold water for about 30 minutes before threading mushrooms onto them. Cook mushrooms under the grill for about 20 minutes. Serve hot with warm Naan bread.
